I don't see a point in this rename. Correct me if I'm wrong, but is the "Defenders of Earth" quote "Welcome to our world. We're the fearless alien hunters, defenders of Earth, but everything stops for the school bell. Tell me about it."? Because if so, it seems much more a description of what they do (defend the Earth) than an attempt to name their "gang". OncomingStorm12th ☎ 20:16, December 3, 2016 (UTC)
- I just want to add, that if a page has a rename tag, that absolutely requires discussion. That means, no changing the text of the article to the new proposed name, and no changing the title in the infobox. And, as always, only admins are permitted to move pages on this wiki.
- User:OncomingStorm12th has a valid point. If it's just a description, there will be no page rename. Someone who actually the text needs to post it here as it is used in the text, with the full context, and with the correct punctuation, so we can evaluate whether it's a name or a nickname.
