Paul Alexander played a Clockwork soldier in the Doctor Who television story The Mind Robber.
Alexander debuted in Doctor Who, after which he appeared on Crown Court, Upstairs, Downstairs, Z-Cars, Casualty, The Bill and EastEnders. However, he is best known for playing Derek on Beryl's Lot.
