The Eternal War was a devastating conflict between the Time Lords and the extradimensional beings known as the Yssgaroth.

The Gallifreyan General Kopyion Liall a Mahajetsu led the Time Lords against the Yssgaroth. During that time, Rassilon began his rise to power.
