Captain Alex Pike was an USAF officer and Alien Liaison Officer. He was killed in the back of a jeep in the desert by the Vardans, who transferred his memories into one of their own. The imposter helped the Seventh Doctor defeat Mortimus and released Artemis. (PROSE: No Future)
