The Children of Destiny were a group of Earth teenagers with psychic powers. They believed they were the next stage in humanity's evolution.
The Children had a secret lair beneath New Cross. Their electronic mentor Simon was located there.
Verdigris, in the guise of the Master, tricked them into helping free the Third Doctor from his imprisonment on Earth by the Time Lords. When the plan failed, the surviving members went with Iris Wildthyme to help the Meercocks settle on Makorna. (PROSE: Verdigris)
