Eleanor Grainger was the wife of Edward Grainger.

They met in 1941 London. (PROSE: Incongruous Details) They later got married. When George Tremayne was possessed, Edward distracted him by talking about Eleanor, which allowed the Third Doctor time to destroy him. (PROSE: Ancient Whispers) Eleanor bought a book for her husband's 49th birthday in 1956. (PROSE: Dear John)
