Gufuu Kocho was a daimyo.
During the 16th century, he was fighting over territory with a neighbouring daimyo, Umemi. Te Yene Rana allied with Umemi to retrieve the pod containing Psychokinetic. After he was killed in battle, Rana tried to make a deal with Gufuu. Knowing she was untrustworthy, Gufuu killed her.
When Psychokinetic was released from the pod, his powers returned to their normal weak state. No longer useful as a weapon, and realising he would lose face if he retaliated against the ones who freed Psychokinetic, Gufuu left and returned to his castle. (PROSE: The Room With No Doors)
