Iktra was a Monaxi. Iktra shot Vozmorth after it turned off the hologram shields, judging its actions as inexperienced and foolish. When captured by the Tenth Doctor and his crew, Iktra activated a time bridge. (COMIC: Medicine Man)
In the Arena of Fear, he set a trap at a bridge across a deep chasm. He was using Mem-Brain to lure others into the trap. When Mem-Brain recognised Sunzberro, he warned Jack Harkness's group about the trap. Together the group managed to defeat Iktra, sending him to his death at the bottom of the chasm.
