DVD Release (with cover blurb)

Each issue came with a DVD release covering two episodes.
Reversible DVD sleeves enabled the collector to display one of two designs featuring either the Doctor and his enemies or his companions.
“Ooh, sweet Lord! I'm a walking doodle!"
The TARDIS takes a trip to galaxy M87 and the planet New Earth after an old friend sends a message to the Doctor's psychic paper. While there, they discover cat nuns are doing hideous experiments in a huge hospital and fall foul of an old adversary out for revenge!
“And so begins the empire of the wolf!"
The Doctor and Rose bump into Queen Victoria when she is passing through Scotland. A tree across the line has stopped the royal train so she must stay at Sir Robert MacLeish's house. But he has uninvited guests, and one in particular will make for a terrifying evening when the Moon is full!

Notable Information

  • The cat masks were so delicate that they were destroyed every time the actresses removed them. They had to wear new ones every day!
  • Effects company The Mill, who created the werewolf, also worked on the werewolf that appeared in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
  • 'Ice Warrior' is the human nickname for the Martians. No one knows what they call themselves!
  • Although one Robot Spider prop was made, the moving ones are all CG!
