Shamur was seeking his granddaughter. He was an old original. He told the Fifth Doctor and Nyssa of the war that used hallucinogenics on the battle field. He wanted to know what had happened to Mira. He helped the Doctor find Nyssa when he was blinded. (AUDIO: The Children of Seth)
