Shaun Jones was the husband of Bronwen Jones and the father of Eugene and Terry Jones.
His elder son Eugene was born in 1979.
In 1992, Shaun went to see Eugene at a maths competition and was disappointed at his failure to win. Upon returning home, he argued with Bronwen and left her. He never returned.
