The Galis Expedition was sent by the New British Empire in the 44th century to the opposite side of Mutter's Spiral in order to find the planet Krop Tor. They found that it did indeed exist and orbited K37J5 as if it were a star rather than a black hole. The Galis Expedition brought back several artefacts including a notebook and some ancient pottery.
