I though Jack was comming back for good not being a guest star.--Si 12:42, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

maybe. I honestly hadn't considered that possiblity. if you have heard that as a rumor, maybe he will. I try to keep myself spoiler-free and haven't heard any such news.
Jack will appear only in the last three (or last four?) stories of the new Doctor Who season, John Barrowman has said that Torchwood series 2 will happen and that he will appear in it. so it seems pretty probable that at the end of the new series the Doctor will drop off Jack on/near present day Earth so that he can appear in the new Torchwood series later. --***Stardizzy*** 13:04, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Television appearances

I have changed the television appearances in a way that should help with the continuity of series crossovers, but still seperates the series so that the Doctor Who and Torchwood episodes are distinguishable. I haven't changed any other characters in this way, but if people don't have any problems with what I have done it could also be used for other crossover characters (ie, Sarah Jane Smith, Martha Jones).

So what do people think??

It's...not so good. From the Contents at the start of the page the first thing under television is (puzzlingly) Captain Jack's Monster Files.
The way the lists are set out are consistent across all articles, introducing a second system for some characters is going to be bad for consistency and being able to show people how it's done.
Additionally if this was truly going to be a guide to continuity it would need to include all the novels, short stories, comics etc. Which if this was pushed out to all the list of - articles would kind of destroy the list. --Tangerineduel 13:58, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
