Kareena was a dancer on Kirith. She was the younger sister of Revna and the twin sister of Darien. She had been taken by the Panjistri to Kandasi to practice and refine his art, but was instead absorbed into the God Machine. Although zavát made the Kirithons forget all about her, Darien remembered her just before he too became part of the Machine and ten years later her fiancé remembered her after the zavát supplies were cut off.
