Jean Conroy (December 1934-14 November 1964)[1] played one of the Women in the wood in the Doctor Who serial The Dalek Invasion of Earth.
Her tragic, untimely death in a street accident occurred before transmission of the serial. She is the first person associated with the programme to pass away.
