Zenig was a Tyrenian. He was second-in-command of a ship that crashed on Axista Four. When the crew awoke after a century of suspended animation, they found that humans had established a colony on the planet.

He helped stop some battledroids from destroying the colony by luring them to a bunker and blowing them up. After the Second Doctor told him the truth about the Tyrenians, Zenig stayed in the bunker, dying so he would not reveal what he knew about their origins. (PROSE: The Colony of Lies)
