Marquis te Rosscarrino was an aristocrat.
He believed his family were directly descended from Rovan Cartovall, and heirs to the Cartovallian Empire. He hoped to find the proof whilst searching for the Ultimate Treasure on Gelsandor. In fact, such proof did not exist. Instead, he was placed in suspended animation and was given the illusion that he had found the evidence. He lived the rest of his life in that dream.
