The Dalek shuttle was a shuttlecraft used by the Daleks to travel from their ships to the surfaces of planets. The shuttle was docked on the Dalek Mothership and left through a hatch on the ship's underside.
The shuttle could hold four Daleks and had heavy ground defences. Imperial Daleks used a Dalek Shuttle to reach Earth to find the Hand of Omega for their emperor, Davros, before the Renegade Daleks did for the Dalek Supreme. (TV: Remembrance of the Daleks)
Behind the scenes
According to non-narrative information in DWBIT 17, a group of Daleks used battle shuttles in their invasion of Aridius.
