A guard was a member of the Captain's guards on Zanak. He discovered Romana I and took her to the Bridge. Along with the other guards, he chased after the Fourth Doctor, Romana and Kimus into the mines, but were prevented from capturing them by the Mentiads.
He returned to the bridge and reported his failure to capture the Doctor. The Captain had Polyphase Avatron kill the guard for his failure. (TV: The Pirate Planet)
