The Barbour story began in 1894 in the Market Place in South Shields. Today the 120 year old, 5th generation family owned business remains in the North East, with Barbour's headquarters located in Simonside, South Shields.
In this short film hear the Barbour story; from the beginnings in South Shields and the creation of the classic Border jacket, to the Barbour values and design principles that make the brand what it is today.
