Hal the Archer was a servant of Lord Edward of Wessex and his wife Lady Elenor. He helped the Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith defeat Irongron firstly, when Sarah Jane Smith spiked Irongron's food to make them fall a sleep and then he took their weapons. Secondly, he killed Linx by shooting an arrow into his probic vent so that Linx could not escape. He later returned to his masters to help defend Wessex castle. (DW: The Time Warrior)
