Bone-Stave

Talk about it here.

The Bone-Staves of the Mayakai were ornate wands used by the six chiefs of the all-male council of war. Only two survived the extinction of the culture in 1773, and they were made of bones from at least eight animal species. Their intricacy was comparable to European firearms. Legend said that anyone touched by one of these staves would suffer a combination of extreme physical symptoms, but the words required to activate the weapons had been forgotten.

In 1774, Mayakatula fashioned a makeshift Bone-Stave from the bones of a monkey leg and used it to kill Snaddon. (COMIC: Political Animals)
