An orphaned boy often loitered at Felix' wine shop in Rome, begging from the customers.

When the Fifth Doctor, Felix and Thrasyllus became involved in the plans of an alien to alter Earth's history, the boy helped by disabling the alien's guards (giving them wine mixed with olive oil) and threw a wine jug at the alien.
