The Shroud lured the Fifth Doctor and Vislor Turlough to Kat's apartment and tried to make Kat drain the Doctor of his Artron energy. The Doctor created a disruptor field with Kat's mediascreen and banished the Shroud from her mind. This knocked Kat unconscious.
