Robin Sachs (5 February 1951-1 February 2013) played an unnamed British professor in the Torchwood story The New World. He was the son of Doctor Who guest star Leonard Sachs and was at one time married to Siân Phillips.
Sachs was perhaps best known for his recurring role as Ethan Rayne in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
