Billy Gierhart was the director of several episodes of Torchwood: Miracle Day, including Rendition, Dead of Night, Escape to LA and The Blood Line.
A busy steadicam operator for much of the 2000s — in which capacity he worked on Pacific Blue, Huff and others — Gierhart began directing in 2008 with an episode of the critically-acclaimed series The Shield. He also directed several episodes of Sons of Anarchy and Breakout Kings prior to coming into Miracle Day.
