I'm confused by the apparent suggestion that Regeneration energy is only regeneration energy if it happens within the new series. Surely the bright effects of the classic series (the 6th Doctor's death, for instance) are also literal instances of "regeneration energy"? :Yes. In Mawdryn Undead (TV story), the Fifth Doctor almost gives up his remaining regenerations. Would that not be considered usage of regeneration energy as well? ----<span style="color:purple">Ebyabe</span> <span style="color:green"><small>(talk)</small></span> 08:06, July 10, 2017 (UTC)

Surely the bright effects of the classic series (the 6th Doctor's death, for instance) are also literal instances of "regeneration energy"? OS25 (Talk) 22:32, July 9, 2017 (UTC)

Yes. In Mawdryn Undead (TV story), the Fifth Doctor almost gives up his remaining regenerations. Would that not be considered usage of regeneration energy as well? ----Ebyabe (talk) 08:06, July 10, 2017 (UTC)
