BBC Store was an online streaming channel, created in 2016, for purchasing and viewing BBC shows. Many Doctor Who stories have been published there.
In 2016 BBC Store first published the animated version of The Power of the Daleks prior to its DVD release. It was published weekly in six parts and became the first story (the animated version) to be original to a streaming channel if one excludes iPlayer exclusive Class.
On 25 May 2017, it was announced that BBC Store would be set to close down on 1st November 2017. Programmes purchased on the Store would be available to watch up to that date, or be refunded.
