Halyvon (planet)

Halyvon was a planet home to the native Halyvon race.

While investigating Halyvon artifacts, specifically a necklace that allowed her to communicate telepathically with the other wearers, Bernice Summerfield was able to hear 26 (The Kingdom of the Blind) in her head. Heading to the planet, Bernice was shocked to discover that the native population had been enslaved by Monoids who planned to remove all of the slave's eyes, ears and speech. Bernice was able to trick the Monoids into believing she was already deaf. Later, after using the telepathic abilities of the Halyvon artifacts, the Halyvons were able to regain their telepathic abilities and Bernice was shocked to witness them telepathically remove the Monoid's ability to speak.
