:Nope, just the novelisation. Since placing the rename template, I've discovered the rule (hidden on Talk:Miranda (Doctor Who), of all places) that we generally don't name pages based on novelisations, despite T:VS specifically saying that "if the [novelisation] gives a new fact not contradicted by television — such as a character's name — then it's allowed." Ahh well. – N8 ☎ 13:30, November 9, 2017 (UTC) | :Nope, just the novelisation. :: It's not all that bad. The rule is both present in the Matrix Archives and allows for some freedom, see Thread:167022. But it is indeed largely based on the Miranda precedent. My current thinking about it, after looking at several cases quite recently, is that normally a redirect from a full name is sufficient. However, there can be options. For instance, Scream of the Shalka (novelisation) might merit a special treatment. There is pending rename from there too. So, if you find a full name in a novelisation, don't hesitate to slap a (slow) rename on it so it can be discussed.
