Next Episode was a poem published in the anthology Now We Are Six Hundred. The focus of the poem was cliffhangers.

- Cliffhangers mentioned include being pushed in a pit, (TV: The Creature from the Pit) having a robot twin, (TV: The Chase) restarting the Big Bang, (TV: The Pandorica Opens) and being turned to compost. (TV: The Seeds of Doom) There are many other common cliffhangers mentioned including being shot.
- The Doctor said the internet would be aflame if he stated his real name.

- This poem is written from the point of view of the Doctor.
- As this poem deals with issues such as cliffhangers (and mentions waiting a week to find out what happens) it breaks the fourth wall and is invalid.
- The poem also features an illustration of a Dalek when mentioning a Dalek-related cliffhanger.
- As the poem is just the Doctor naming different cliffhangers; it barely has any plot.
