A sonic weapon was a weapon used by the Ice Warriors. It was commonly found on the right arm of the Ice Warriors' armour. It fired a sonic burst which could stun or kill its target.[source needed]
Another variation fired a bolt of sound. When it hit the target, it caused a sonic implosion that crushed the target. The effect was fatal to humans, as it broke their limbs and crushed their bones. (TV: Empress of Mars)
