Anna Hope played Novice Hame in the Doctor Who stories New Earth, Gridlock and Tardisode 1. She also played D.I. Patricia Menzies in the Sixth Doctor Big Finish Productions' audio stories, The Condemned, The Raincloud Man and The Crimes of Thomas Brewster. She is one of a handful of actors to have originated one recurring character on the television programme and a totally different one in the Big Finish audios.

Hope's first novel, Wake, was published in January 2014.
