Lazlo Zemar

Lazlo Zemar was a professor of xenosociology.

While visiting the library planet Sentarion to learn more of the beginnings of the Rutan-Sontaran War, Bernice Summerfield met Professor Zemar, who was a visiting scholar. They went out for drinks, where he told her he was researching the Sentarii religion. He believed they had actually been "uplifted" by an advanced alien species who had claimed to be gods, and that the uplifting was ongoing.

Before he could go into detail, the café they were at was attacked by the Harrubtii, a radical religious sect. They killed Zemar for profaning the name of the Shining Ones. When Benny reported the crime, she found it was being covered up by high level government officials. (PROSE: Shakedown)
