The Howling Halls were, according to the Tenth Doctor, a place from which the Elemental Shade had "escaped". (TV: Love & Monsters) Most likely this is the same Howling referred to in (TV: Army of Ghosts) by the Tenth Doctor as the name of The Void by the Eternals.
