A female Leaf Dragon appeared in Coal Hill Academy after falling through a rip in space-time. She collided with Coach Dawson and imprinted on him, appearing as a tattoo on his skin.
Her mate then killed Assistant Coach Caroll, a cleaner and the headteacher, Mr Armitage, to feed her. Dawson used her as leverage in order to control him, by threatening to kill her, but he dragged Dawson through a rift after Ram Singh suggested that he make Dawson's skin into leather, to "make a chair or something".
