Opening Tag
The Doctor finally discovers what happened to the honoured guests from Platform One.
Summary
The TARDIS is following the lectra energy leak of a power-boosted transmat beam, found to be present every time survivors of Platform One have disappeared, including most recently Mr and Mrs Pakoo. A TARDIS intruder arrives, identifies Rose and transmats her away to join the others, the Doctor whose identity was not confirmed as a result of his regeneration is not taken.
Rose awakes to find herself imprisoned along with the other survivors of Platform One and a very vengeful Elth of Balhoon, who believes his brother, Moxx of Balhoon, was left abandoned to die alone in agony when the Platform One shields failed. In accordance with Staue 7 of the Hanamacat Pel Jadrabone Convention, Elth feels he can have his revenge on the survivors who let the Moxx die. The Doctor arrives undetected by the Elth's bioslaves, defeats the Bioslaves and releases the prisoners by using his sonic screwdriver. With his plans thwarted, the Elth breaks down in tears, mourning the loss of his family member. The Doctor asks the others to go easy on the Elth. To Rose's surprise, the former prisoners rally round the Elth with offers to make a film of the Moxx's life, growing a garden in the Moxx's memory, and offers of sponsorship and free travel for visitors. With the mystery solved, the Doctor and Rose quietly slip away in the TARDIS.

Original Print Details
Installment, publication title with page count and closing caption.
- 6/6 Doctor Who: Battles in Time Issue 6 (4 pages) TO BE CONTINUED!!!
- No reprints to date.
Notes
- Supporting the series of collectable Doctor Who trading cards, the magazine title, carried a regular 4 page, individually titled comic strip series of the Tenth Doctor’s adventures.
- Style wise, the artwork and colours were bold and bright reflecting the tone of the magazine and, as with Doctor Who Adventures, it reflected the appeal to younger readers than that catered for by Doctor Who Magazine.
References
- The Battles in Time comic strip often sought to reinforce the Doctor character with that as seen on screen by utilising various 'props' used in the TV series. Namely; blue/brown suit, intelligent-looking glasses, sonic screwdriver and psychic paper.
