Lord Eskdale was the owner of New Belgravia. He had a daughter named Charlotte Eskdale. He was regularly mean to his ape servants, which led Charlotte to run away from him. Eskdale hired a Detective to find her. The Twelfth Doctor showed up and took on the case. He found that Charlotte had hidden away in the engine room of Eskdale Hall because he was being mean to the apes. Eskdale promised to stop being mean and freed his apes from slavery.
