Raxacoricofallapatorius is part of a star system that includes its twin planet Clom (DW: Love & Monsters). It has four poles, marked by ice-caves. The seas are burgundy, bordering spphire and chalk cliffs. Raxas Prime is the major continental landmass, and many island groups are scattered around, such as the Islands of Hisp. A scent of cinnamon pervades in the air. Raxacoricofallapatorians build marble cliff-top temples across their world, the largest of which is the Temple of Atonement. (The Time Traveller's Almanac)
The criminal Slitheen and Blathereen families notwithstanding, the Raxacoricofallapatorians are a generally peaceful race. Raxacoricofallapatorians have limited technology, albeit highly advanced by Earth standards. (REF: Doctor Who: Monsters and Villains)
