Tagonique was a primitive backwater planet home to the Tagoniqui, (PROSE: Alchemy) who were human descendants. (PROSE: A Hundred Words from a Civil War) Gandling River was located on Tagonique.
During the War in Heaven, House Arpexia noticed that Tagonique would develop into the hub of a vast Tagoniqui empire allied with the Enemy. Dephresis, Anhedra, and Jarks were sent to Tagonique to prevent the Tagoniqui from scientific advancement, first by distributing technology resembling magic.
