Levithians are a humanoid civilisation and part of the Cyrrhenic Alliance. The tyrant Graff Vynda-K, once Emperor of the Levithians, fought in the frontier wars with his army on behalf of the Cyrrhenic Empire but returned to find his throne usurped by his half-brother.
With the Alliance refusing to support his claim to the throne, the Graff had no option but to find a suitable world on which to build a power base and strike back at his enemies.
