Peter's mother and father were possessed by an alien tree god named Goomba, whose essence was in the garden furniture that she and Peter had just bought. Peter, helped by the Eighth Doctor, saved his parents and several neighbours from Goomba. The Doctor then took her on a shopping trip. (PROSE: The Wickerwork Man)
