Matthew was a police community support officer in Shoreditch in the 2010s. He reprimanded Yashe and Noah for playing video games when they should have been at Coal Hill School. He entered a junkyard believing there to be another student inside, but found instead the Skovox Blitzer, which killed him. He awoke to find himself in the Nethersphere, where he was interviewed by a man named Seb. (TV: The Caretaker)
The Nethersphere ultimately perished, however, following the exposure of the 3W Institute and the destruction of Missy's Cyberman army by Danny Pink. (TV: Death in Heaven)
