Dr Khan was the assistant of Professor Kyle.
In 2526, Khan was a member of an expedition exploring a recently discovered cavern rich in fossils somewhere on Earth. Khan was killed along with six others by the Cybermen's androids due to their close proximity to the Cyber-bomb's hatch.
