Benedict Summerfield III was born in 2214.
He rebelled against his mother, Candice Summerfield, at a young age and would later blame her for all his problems. He became a police officer on the colony planet Vandor Secunda, and had two children: Marshal and Christine.
He committed suicide before he was thirty. In his suicide note he ordered that his son be sent to military college "so he could learn some proper discipline".
Records of Benedict were kept until the 26th century. Christine Summerfield learned about Benedict when she read the Summerfield family tree. (PROSE: Dead Romance)
