A reconnaissance scout Dalek once arrived on Earth during the 9th century. It was defeated by three armies of humans where the Kaled mutant was split in three and taken to different parts of the planet so it couldn't recover.
On the first of January, 2019 one of the Kaled pieces was recovered, and was reborn under Ultraviolet light. It summoned the other two pieces and took Lin to find its gun and create a new Dalek shell.
The Dalek went on a rampage - it killed an entire army detachment, and fired a missile into a tank, destroying it. It was stopped by the Thirteenth Doctor, Graham O'Brien, Yasmin Khan, Ryan Sinclair, Mitch, Lin and Aaron using a microwave oven which melted it's new casing. The Kaled however latched onto Aaron and was finally killed when the Thirteenth Doctor tricked it into a Supernova. (TV: Resolution)
