There's currently a link in the "Heights" section's text "we need to make all pics widescreen — with certain exceptions" leading to a "When not going widescreen is okay" bookmark which doesn't actually exist. I'd like to see that lead somewhere, but if there aren't plans to add such exceptions to the rule then the link should be removed. — Rob T Firefly - Δ∇ - 17:48, September 26, 2014 (UTC) | There's currently a link in the "Heights" section's text "we need to make all pics widescreen — with certain exceptions" leading to a "When not going widescreen is okay" bookmark which doesn't actually exist. Spellingedit source
- Ria was a very minor character in COMIC: Party Animals. There will probably never be much more that could be added to this article. But look at that infobox pic! In the first place, we can immediately see that it's less than 250px, because there's plenty of white pace on the sides. But the real concern is the height!
It says "pace" - should be space. – The preceding unsigned comment was added by SmallerOnTheOutside (talk • contribs) .
- Fixed. Thanks. --Tangerineduel / talk 14:38, February 24, 2013 (UTC)
Image guidelinesedit source
Wow. I read the entire entry. Three thoughts occur to me:
a) I enlarge all of the time, probably between 20-30% of images I see on this site.
b) You say nothing about copyright and providing credit to the source of the images.
c) If I make substantial contributions to this site, I will just not even bother with posting images. I know what you're trying to do is describe the ideal. But truly, with all of these specifications (wide-screen, looking left, use Blu-Ray, not VHS, enhance white with Photoshop, etc. etc.), it is much more trouble than it is worth. Someone else with an abundance of free time can come up with the proper images, modified in a way that meet your demanding specifications.69.125.134.86talk to me 00:32, April 13, 2013 (UTC)
- Answers to your questions/comments 1 & 2 can be found at Tardis:Image use policy, which tells how to upload pictures and which ones can be uploaded. This entry deals more with how to use the pictures that have already been uploaded.
- I've noticed that you have a lot of questions about policy, unless I'm mistaking you for another user. If you have any specific questions, feel free to leave a message at my talk page. Since you don't have a talk page, I will get back to you on my talk page. Thanks! Shambala108 ☎ 04:08, April 13, 2013 (UTC)
When not going widescreen is okay?edit source
There's currently a link in the "Heights" section's text "we need to make all pics widescreen — with certain exceptions" leading to a "When not going widescreen is okay" bookmark which doesn't actually exist. I'd like to see that lead somewhere, but if there aren't plans to add such exceptions to the rule then the link should be removed. — Rob T Firefly - Δ∇ - 17:48, September 26, 2014 (UTC)

About speech bubbles in imagesedit source
Firstly, I noticed a typo in the very beginning of the Speech bubbles segment. It reads "trying to illustrate what an ape look like".
Secondly and more majorly, a thought occurred to me when actually reading about the Wiki's stance on speech bubbles. You mention cropping them out, including them partially and even coloring a tail black at a very specific situation. My question: What would you think of someone hypothetically including a speech bubble but erasing all the words, thus leaving an entirely white bubble? This could perhaps be one way for allowing high quality, well fitting widescreen shots of panels that just happen to have bubbles with highly irrelevant text in them. // Joey, a nerd.
