Since this is more than a house and is also present in other forms in real-world folklore as recited in the story itself, I propose to rename it to just Carterhaugh

Carterhaugh House was a house in Shoreditch. Thomas Laneford thought it was a bit grand for Shoreditch. April MacLean thought that it was brilliant and she hadn't seen it before.
