Chenchu was the manager of the way station at Tun-Huang during the late 13th century. He was working for the war lord Tegana.
In 1289, Chenchu told the First Doctor how to get to the Cave of Five Hundred Eyes. When Tegana found out, he yelled at Chenchu. (TV: Marco Polo)
