Helmut Schreyer was an inventor.
He and Konrad Zuse developed a cypher machine, the Z-3. Schreyer notified the Nazis about the invention. However, in an alternate timeline created by the Oracle, the message was intercepted. Then the British were manipulated into a suicide bombing mission on Berlin to destroy the Z-3 and kill Zuse and Schreyer. (PROSE: The Domino Effect)
